The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) predicted the drone industry will create more than 100,000 jobs by 2025 and will have an economic impact of $82 billion. Drones and drone technology is quickly integrating with multiple sectors including agriculture, mining, real estate, surveying and many others. Drone pilots are already seeing a demand for their work.

Coastal Drone believes that the next generation of workforce, especially in the technology sector is going to utilize drones even more and we want to encourage Canadian youth to get certified and understand the complexity of piloting drones, and also the career opportunities that come with being a certified pilot.

Every year, Coastal Drone will select one applicant to receive our Advanced Pilot Bundle ($599), plus one of our PRO courses ($399) for free. This Canadian Youth Drone Certification Grant will provide the necessary training for one of Canada’s up and coming pilots to be able to pass their certification exam, and have the knowledge to both fly their drone safely, but also to incorporate the skills into their career.

Note: Only High school & University\College students are eligible to receive the grant.
